Tour 1: The Art of Food
Hosted by Estancia
Join celebrity chef Tim McKee (Sea Change, Minneapolis, Minnesota) and Wendy Brodie (Art of Food, Carmel, California), along with members of the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch staff for a tour of Monterey’s commercial wharf, including the aquaculture operation at the Monterey Bay Abalone Company. You’ll then head south to Wendy’s Carmel Highlands home, where she and Tim will prepare and serve a gourmet lunch in a demonstration kitchen that affords sweeping views of forest and ocean. Premium wines provided by Estancia.

Tour 2: California Bounty
Hosted by The Lodge at Pebble Beach
Join John Ash (Fetzer Vineyards, Sonoma County), Anthony Fusco (formerly of Harbour, New York) and Benjamin Brown, executive chef of The Lodge at Pebble Beach, as they pay tribute to the abundant and varied foods found right in our own backyard. John, Anthony and Ben will offer entertaining cooking demonstrations, and share their culinary techniques. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a fabulous lunch prepared by the talented chefs of The Lodge, accompanied by premium wines from Bonterra, Fetzer and Jekel.

Tour 3: The Farmer and the Peach
Hosted by the Intercontinental The Clement Monterey.
Join celebrated author and organic peach grower David “Mas” Masumoto at the elegant InterContinental The Clement Monterey as he and three great chefs create a three-course literary—and culinary—celebration of the bounty of the land. You’ll meet Mas, and he’ll share readings from his books celebrating farm life in the Central Valley. Each course will feature delectable organic heirloom peaches from Mas’s orchard, served following cooking demonstrations by Joanne Chang (Meyers + Chang, Boston), Jim Dodge (Bon Appétit Management Company) and Jerry Regester, the InterContinental’s executive chef. Each course will be accompanied by a different premium wine from Scheid Vineyards, whose winemaking team will share their passion for the land.

Tour 4: A Big Sur Affair
Hosted by Ventana Vineyards
Join our Chef of the Year Suzanne Goin (Lucques, Los Angeles) on the beautiful Big Sur coast as she and Ventana Inn & Spa executive chef Dory Ford team up to provide you with an incredible experience. You’ll explore the beautiful grounds, see a demo from Suzanne and dine on local sustainable products, including produce from Ventana’s own garden. Enjoy your gourmet lunch on the newly remodeled terrace overlooking the Big Sur coastline, and meet principals from Ventana Vineyards as you sample estate grown wines from the most award-winning vineyard in America.

Tour 5: Pastures of Heaven
Journey to DeTierra Vineyard, located deep in Corral de Tierra, at the foot of Mount Toro—an area described by author John Steinbeck as the “pastures of heaven.” Winemaker David Coventry and vintner Tom Russell will take you on a tour of this incredible property as you learn how DeTierra grows wonderful chardonnay, pinot noir and merlot grapes, as well as olives for its award-winning oil—all without chemical pesticides. Local celebrity chef Tony Baker (Montrio Bistro) will provide a delicious lunch, accompanied by DeTierra wines. Celebrity chef Bruce Sherman (North Pond, Chicago) will share his commitment to sustainability and offer a cooking demonstration.
